Guide To Zero Balancing
What Is Zero Balancing?
Zero Balancing is a manipulative but gentle form of acupressure that was developed by Fritz Frederick Smith MD in 1973, previously an Orthopaedic physician and surgeon in the USA, and later becoming a Master of Acupuncture.
Who Can Zero Balancing Help?
Zero Balancing can be used on a short term basis, such as for emotional, head and neck problems, or for the longer term maintenance of general health. Practitioners claim it helps to heal past emotional or physical traumas.
What Does Zero Balancing Involve?
The practitioner will take a case history from the patient. They will thenapply gentle finger pressure to stretch and hold the recipient, whilst they lie fully clothed on a massage table or mat. Three sessions of 20 - 40 minutes are generally recommended, with more suggested if necessary.
