The therapist will take a case history. You will then be asked to lie comfortably in a reclining chair, with your feet raised. The shoes and socks are removed and the feet examined for Corns and Calluses, or potential infections. Before starting the treatment, the therapist will massage talcum powder onto the feet to get them used to the feel of being massaged. Whatever the ailment, all the reflex areas on both feet will be massaged. Any tender areas wil receive extra attention and the therapist wil deal with the causes of the problem, not just the symptoms.
