Guide To Homeopathy

What Is Homeopathy?

Homeopathy is the use of highly diluted natural substances to boost the bodies own immune system. Illness is viewed as a sign of disharmony and inner imbalance, so rather than just treating the outward symptoms, a homeopath will treat the underlying cause(s).

Who Can Homeopathy Help?

Homeopathy stresses the individuality and uniqueness of the patient. Hence most people can benefit from homeopathy, from the young to the elderly.

 What Does Homeopathy Involve?

A homeopath will normally start by assessing your symptoms, mood, state of mind, fears, beliefs, personal circumstances etc. In most cases the practitioner will give a single dose of the chosen remedy and then wait to see what effect it has, before offering further treatment. Any change is believed to show that the body has responded to the treatment and that the immune system has been boosted. Simple conditions such as a Headache, may respond almost immediately, whereas a long standing complaint eg. Arthritis, may take many months and may require further doses if improvent stops or any new symptoms present themselves.
